L’Oreal took the pain out of recruitment by asking their favourite employees to fill out a detailed questionnaire. They give the same questionnaire to candidates for vacant positions to fill out, feed all the replies into an AI data cruncher, and the machine spits out the names for the people who’d best suit the position. This allows the company to fish in a much larger pool than the usual CV round can handle, and to get a better fit.
