M&C Saatchi ran a series of billboard ads that could read the expression on the viewer’s face to decide if the message was going across. The AI software could tell whether the person had a positive, negative or neutral response to the advert. With a negative reaction, it could then change the colours, fonts, images and other design features in an attempt to turn that consumer’s frown upside down.
